I am a student in the Science Technology and Research (STAR) class in the 2011-12 school year.
Prior to taking this class I took an Introduction to Technology class in 7th grade where I learned to use Microsoft Word, Microsoft Exel and Microsoft Powerpoint. Other than that, in 4th grade I taught myself how to create graphics on Paint, Photofiltre, and Photoshop, edit pictures, and make webpages on Weebly or Freewebs on my own time.
By the end of this class, I hope to learn how to create GIFS or animation along with making rotoball. I'd also like to improve my graphic skills by transferring my art on paper to Paint.
This year I learned a lot in Multimedia. I accomplished the goals I hoped to achieve in the beginning of the year. I learned to how to use Photoshop again since elementary. On Photoshop I remembered how to use the Marquee Tools, Lasso Tools, Selection Brush, and the Magic Wand. I also learned many skills on Flash in this class like organizing layers, Frame by Frame Animation, Motion Tween, Animation inside a symbol, and Action Script. There was this new interesting program called Audacity that I enjoyed using. Audacity is a software for recording and editing sound. I used Audacity to record and add sound to my face project. In the end, this class really helped me learn useful skills for any jobs in the future.
