I am a student in the Science Technology and Research (STAR) class in the 2011-12 school year.

Prior to taking this class I knew a good amount about computers, or at least i thought did. Since i came to this classroom Ive learned more then I ever knew. Ive learned about things you can do with the wiki, making portfolios and cool stuff like that.

By the end of this class, I hope to learn more about computers then I already know. It would help me a lot in the future if I learned everything there is to computers.

During my time in STAR I learned how to manipulate images and texts with Photoshop. I learned about copyright and its uses. I created my own resume and got into depth on how to make a works cited page. I used paint which i ended up learning about bitmaps and Jpegs. I've also learned of flash and how to animate my drawings. we use swf and flash files to save or creations. we animate our drawings with keyframes and frames themselves. we also create motiontweens which help out in creating a smooth animation.
